I adopted Max I believe at the end of April, 2021. I lived in Cuyahoga Falls and had retired a few months before. He was one of a litter of 5.
Max was born Feb 26. He is now 4 years old and 61 pounds of energy, with a heart of gold and so very smart.
I moved back to Atlanta in Aug. 2023, so after Max being with me as retired
for 2 years living in Ohio, we had a new adventure. I went back to work full-time and enrolled Max in an amazing doggie day care where he goes Monday – Friday. He loves going to camp, and the caregivers treat him like royalty. They use him when they are interviewing new dogs wanting to be accepted into day care. He is so fast and leaves his pals at camp way behind when they play chase.
Weekends and evenings we are together on long walks or hiking. He goes to the office with me sometimes too. 2 winters ago, we went to the beach for 2 months which was his first time at the ocean.
He can be shy when he first meets someone. If I tell him it’s “ok Max” then he will accept the new friend.
Max has a great life, well taken care of, 4legged friends at camp and my commitment to take care of him forever.
Thank you for my sweet boy, Max. I believe God had him picked out for me as he was the last of the 5 in the litter that wasn’t spoken for.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
