Wally, Another H2E Alumni Success

Hi everyone! Wally here — your friendly neighborhood Sheepadoodle, professional cuddler, enthusiastic greeter, and proud graduate of… well, a lot of classes. I just turned 4 in November, and I thought it was the perfect time to share a little bit of my story.
🌟 My Adoption Story
I still remember the day my family got the call about me. They were on their way to the hospital to see my great-grandpa, who was very sick. It was a hard, emotional time for them, and somehow, I think we were meant to find each other right then. They brought me home in January 2022, and from that moment on, I knew my job was to bring comfort, joy, and a whole lot of love into their lives.
And let me tell you — I took that job very seriously.
💛 A Whole Lot of Love to Give
Everyone says I’m the sweetest dog, and honestly… I can’t argue. I love every person I meet. Big people, little people, other dogs — if you’ve got a heartbeat, I’ve probably tried to be your friend. My family says they’re so grateful for me, but the truth is, I’m the lucky one. They gave me a home, a purpose, and endless belly rubs.
🎓 My Big Achievements
I’m a pretty smart pup (if I do say so myself). When I was under a year old, I graduated from puppy socialization, basic obedience, and even a trick class — that one was my favorite. My signature move is “spin,” and yes, I absolutely expect applause afterward.
And guess what? In September 2025, I graduated again and earned my Canine Good Citizen certificate! I wore my imaginary cap and gown with pride.
🧠 I Love to Learn
Training classes are my jam. I love the mental challenge, the treats, the praise, and the chance to show off. My family says I light up when I’m learning something new — and they’re right. I think it’s because it makes us feel like a team.
💕 What’s Next for Me
My family is even thinking about helping me become a certified therapy dog. I don’t know all the details yet, but I do know this: I love people, I love comforting them, and I love making someone’s day a little brighter. If that’s what therapy dogs do, then I think I’d be pretty good at it.

To the wonderful humans who helped me before I found my forever family — thank you. You gave me safety, care, and a chance at the life I have now. My family never forgets that, and neither do I.
